Welcome to LodgingGuide's hospitality industry listings for the Mazatlan area.
Mazatlan is the second largest Pacific coastal city in Mexico, and is fast gaining in popularity,
as it is less commercial than Acapulco, the largest of the coastal resort cities, and is more historically
preserved and laid back than the newer upscale venues of Los Cabos and Cancun. The town consists of an older
port section of residents, where more shrimp are traded than anywhere else in the world, and the Zona Dorada,
the Golden Zone of tourist resorts, which are separated by miles of natural, undeveloped beach.
The annual Mardi Gras in Mazatlan is second only in popularity to Brazil’s Carnivale,
where this unique blend of residents and visitors is best enjoyed.
